Brief Project Description:
Medtronic Ireland, a leader in medical technology, renovated an existing shell and core building to expand its facilities at Parkmore West Business Park. The new facility included laboratories, a canteen, a distribution loading bay, and open-plan offices, enhancing Medtronic’s capacity for innovation and operations.

Brief Description of Works:
The electrical installation works covered the following key aspects:

• Installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• New laboratory rooms, canteen space, distribution loading bay, and additional toilet spaces.
• Reconfiguration of ground and first floors into open-plan offices with individual offices and kitchenettes.
• External mechanical plant yard and associated switchgear.
• Diesel generator installation, including cable installation and terminations.
• Lift installation.
• UPS system installation for critical loads.
• New electrical distribution boards and modifications to existing ones.
• Fire alarm system updates.
• General lighting, emergency lighting, and lighting controls.
• General services installation.
• Cable containment systems (new and modified).
• Installation of access control and CCTV systems.
